When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
Report to your unit commander's section upon arrival, or the next duty day if you arrive after duty hours. Your unit will set up your in-processing appointments. Unit information will be provided by your sponsor. If you are eligible for house hunting, you may be granted permissive temporary duty by your unit commander after you have done your initial in-processing. Make sure that you are officially on permissive TDY, otherwise, you will be charged with regular leave.
Lodging accommodations are not available at Schriever Space Force Base. Personnel assigned to Schriever SFB may utilize lodging located on Peterson Space Force Base.
