Legal assistance is available to you and your family. Below, you’ll find information about claims and installation specific programs and services. If you have questions, reach out to the legal assistance program at your installation.
The base Legal Office provides legal support for active-duty service members, ANG/Reservists on Title 10 orders, dependents, and retirees.
Legal services include special and general powers of attorney, wills, domestic relations and support issues, landlord-tenant issues, real property, consumer protection, debt collectors and the Service Members Civil Relief Act.
The Schriever Legal Office is located in Building 210, Room 116. Legal assistance and wills are by appointment only. Powers of attorney and notary services are available during walk-in hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Wills are by appointment only at Peterson SFB. Clients must first go to https://aflegalassistance.law.af.mil/ to complete the will worksheet. Once the ticket number has been received, send the ticket number, DoD number and status (i.e. Active Duty, Retired, Dependent, Reservist on Title 10 orders) to the workflow box, SBD_1.ja.wf@spaceforce.mil and call 719-556-4872 to schedule an appointment.
