Legal assistance is available to you and your family. Below, you’ll find information about claims and installation specific programs and services. If you have questions, reach out to the legal assistance program at your installation.
The base Legal Office provides legal support for installation members and dependents.
Legal services include special and general powers of attorney, wills, domestic relations and support issues, landlord-tenant issues, real property, consumer protection, debt collectors and the Service Members Civil Relief Act.
The Legal Office is located in Building 210, Room 116. Legal assistance hours are by appointment only. Wills by are by appointment only. Powers of attorney and notary services are available during walk-in hours from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Wills are by appointment only. Clients must first go to https://aflegalassistance.law.af.mil/ to complete the will worksheet. Once the ticket number has been received, send the ticket number, DoD number and status (i.e. Active Duty, Retired, Dependent, Reservist on Title 10 orders) to the workflow box, SBD_1.ja.wf@spaceforce.mil and call 719-567-6031 to schedule an appointment.
Household goods claims process
You must file the pink form online within 75 days.
Claim
File within nine months, directly with the carrier, for full replacement value Full replacement doesn't mean all new items. The carrier can replace, pay full value or repair damaged items.
You have two years to file a claim with the Air Force Claims Service Center. For questions, call AFCSC at DSN 986-8044 or 877-754-1212.
Colorado law
After living in Colorado for 90 days, you must register your vehicle in Colorado.
Specific ownership tax: Active-duty personnel must be the owner or co-owner of the vehicle and complete Form DR 2667 to be exempt from this registration tax. This must be completed each year at the time of renewal.
