Youth Programs
The Schriever Youth Programs services Schriever SFB youth, and their families. Youth Programs offices are located at 60 Hahn Ave, Building 60, Schriever SFB, Colorado. Youth and teens age 9-18 years have the opportunity to participate in summer camps as well as field trips and clubs aligned with the 5 core program areas: Leadership and Service, The Arts, Health and Wellness, Sports and Recreation, and Education to include STEM. It's not easy to move to a new area and feel at home right away. It takes time to learn about a new area and to make friends. To help you to find out about Colorado Springs, Schriever SFB, and your school, will assign a pen pal to you. School Age Care
The School Age Program, Bldg. 60, offers care for youth kindergarten to 12 years. The hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for the summer months and school breaks. Before and after care times vary depending on school of choice. Bus service is provided by Ellicott District 22 and Colorado Military Academy (CMA). The program is closed weekends and all federal holidays. Meals and snacks meet USDA food guidelines and are offered throughout the day. The cost for care is based on total family income. Hourly care is available depending on space availability. The program participates in field trips throughout the year and a variety of summer camps to include curriculum in the 5 core program areas: Leadership and Service, The Arts, Health and Wellness, Sports and Recreation, and Education to include STEM. The Schriever SFB School Liaison is dedicated to supporting your PreK-12th grade educational needs. Whether you are navigating homeschooling, local school options, transitions, deployment support, special education services, or college/military readiness, we are here to assist.
