Military spouses can also choose to engage with an education and career coach through the DoD’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program, or SECO. These coaches can assist them in exploring multiple tools, resources and information to reach their educational goals. The Force Development Flight offers courses for personnel seeking to improve their supervisory skills, and assistance in reaching personal goals. The three-hour "Silver Bullets" writing course targets raters, reviewers, and endorsers of enlisted personnel. The course offers tools required to write effective Enlisted Performance Reports and Award Nomination Packages. "Taking Charge of Your Time" is a three hour course directed at those looking to enhance their time management skills. The "Study Skills" course provides students with tips for successful studying, and is designed for individuals in upgrade training, preparing for promotion testing, and college students. Additionally, they provide briefings on the Post 911 GI Bill® and the Tuition Assistance program.
The Force Development Flight, in concert with various higher education facilities, offers limited services along with a variety of classes in graduate and undergraduate studies.
