Temporary Housing

The Westwind Inn main building is located at 570 Travis Avenue in Building 402.

With 82 temporary lodging units, 385 visiting quarters, and 24 business suites the facilities provide modern, convenient, temporary living units for incoming and outgoing military personnel and their families.

Temporary Lodging Facilities:

Consist of fully furnished, two-bedroom units designed to accommodate a family of up to five members or up to six members if one of the children sleeps in a crib. Each unit contains items needed to set up a temporary home.

• Pet-TLF: 29 units

Visiting Quarters:

Consist of room with one queen bed and furnished with a TV, private bathroom, micro-fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

# of Units: 385

Business Suites:

Consist of 2-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, in-room laundry, and office area.

# of Units: 24

Eligibility and Orders:

Personnel who are on permanent change of station status, TDY, or permissive temporary duty assignment, can make reservations with The Westwind Inn in advance of arrival. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of rank. Personnel or their sponsors may make reservations. A copy of PCS orders to Travis Air Force Base must be provided to the Lodging Office before or at the time of check-in.

Permissive TDY must provide a copy of their permissive TDY orders or leave authorization, as well as a copy of their PCS, retirement or separation orders at the time of check-in.

• VQ Rooms: $99 per night
• Business Suites: $107 per night
• Two-bedroom TLF: $107 per night
• Pet-friendly TLF: $107 per night plus a $10/night pet-fee. Note: must present shot records for your pet(s) at check-in.
